Police Lt. Randy Sutton joined the Las Vegas Metro PD because he wanted more action and soon became the poster child for “be careful what you wish for”...Statistically, less than 1/ 2 of 1% of law enforcement ever fire their weapons in the line of duty. Randy has done so 5 times, he's delivered babies, saved a 6-month old shooting victim and rescued hostages.
Officer Sutton found himself in a gun battle and following that moment, he realized that there was no logical reason for him to have survived, much less without a scratch, Randy realized that there was clearly a higher power, and that he was to find his purpose. Randy’s passion now is to imbue people with a sense of legacy, the conscious knowledge that every decision they make and action they take is a part of their legacy – and a knowledge that it is within their power to choose the legacy they want to create. There's a lot more to Randy than his resume. In the “Hollywood” version of law enforcement, Randy has appeared in “Casino” with Robert DiNiro, “Miss Congeniality” with Sandra Bullock, numerous TV episodes of “Cops”. With more than 34 years of extensive police experience in investigations, administration and Instruction, he is the author of numerous professional articles and books and created the seminar “POLICING WITH HONOR” which has been presented to over ten thousand Federal, State and Local Law Enforcement Officers throughout the U.S.
