Linda Thompson, author of Every Generation Needs a New Revolution, also wrote "A Caregiver's Journey, You Are Not Alone." Linda had the privilege of sharing her home with her mother, Fran, for the last 12 years of her life. This 12 year journey together taught Linda so much about caring for someone. Although Fran was never really ill, her needs increased as she neared her 90th birthday, and Linda answered the call. Elder care has become one of her passions and helping other family caregivers experiencing their own caregiving journey understand that there are resources available to help.

At some point in everyone's life, we all are a caregiver to someone. It may be when we are young caring for a sibling, as a young adult caring for our own children, and as we mature, caring for a spouse or an elder parent. How we approach this responsibility will determine how well we manage the emotional and physical challenges. Linda's conversation with CJ and Stephanie will include coping skills, suggestions for finding resources, how to combat that old nemesis called "guilt."

Linda Thompson is an author and educator who offers presentations, workshops and seminars on many topics addressed in her books. Her book, Planning for Tomorrow, is for those who need to get their personal ducks in a row. Every Generation Needs a New Revolution helps people to understand the challenges we all face in our multigenerational world. A Caregiver's Journey is for those family caregivers who are seeking direction in what do to next.
