Millions are expected to participate in the "March for Our Lives" but the organizers do not live like we do. For several weeks, we have been working to with Valencia Gunder and other community leaders to discuss what it takes to end gun violence. This weekend they will be challenging participants to examine the social issues impacting students from South Florida to Washington, D.C. The trip's goal is to promote mutual understanding and strengthen community bonds.  As a result of the recent events in Parkland, Florida, young people are making sure that their voices are heard about the things that enhance or plague our communities—particularly school violence. Their organizing of the March For Our Lives event is a perfect example of how important community organizing is to the world we live in. But how do we go from march to movement? This conversation will be moderated by moderated by Aiyi'nah Ford.
