Today, we are joined by some of our indigenous comrades who have been organizing the effort to change the Washington Football Team's name. Rising Hearts is devoted to empowering indigenous people, defending our human rights, organizing and partnering with groups to elevate the voices and issues that these people are facing. They work to ensure that the injustices happening are being recognized in D.C. and beyond. How can we support their work? What can we do to ensure indigenious organizers are not tokens in movement spaces? How do we end the whitewashing of American history? We will discuss all of this and more on tonights show.
