    Taking Charge of Overeating

    in Health

In this episode, Dr. David Hanscom talks with author and consultant Gillian Riley. She explains how we respond to unconscious eating cues with deeply embedded biological responses. She discusses how becoming aware of these hidden cues is the first step to control overeating. Balancing long term and short term rewards is a key to eating less and eating better. A key aspect of her approach is helping clients understand they have freedom of choice over what and how they eat.
After teaching a program on quitting smoking for 12 years, Gillian Riley ran her first course on “How to take Control of Overeating” in 1997. She held weekend workshops in London for 20 years, delivered the course through webinars since 2017, and is now about to begin her 18th 6-week online course. Her work has as its focus the extraordinary and often ignored role of the mind in behavior change such as stopping smoking and eating less. Sharry Edwards on BioAcoustic Biology & the Sound Health Portal

    in Health

Sharry Edwards, "BioAcoustics Voice Spectral Analysis can detect hidden or underlying stresses in the body that are expressed as disease." The vocal print can identify toxins, pathogens and nutritional supplements that are too low or too high. In addition, vocal print can be used to match the most compatible treatment remedy to each client. The introduction of the proper low frequency sound to the body, indicated through voice analysis, has been shown to control: pain, body temperature, heart rhythm, and blood pressure. It has also been shown to regenerate body tissue, and alleviate the symptoms of many diseases (in some cases, even those considered to be incurable).
Sharry Edwards (Sharry Edwards™) is the pioneer in the study of Human BioAcoustic Biology. Her 30 years of research is being used at the Institute of BioAcoustic Biology in Albany, OH. Currently, Edwards and her team at Sound Health are using human voice and the associated frequencies to help clients resolve health issues such as: macular degeneration, multiple sclerosis, headaches, muscle stress, brain trauma, weight issues and nutritional concerns. The technology she brings to the stage is cutting edge!

Waking up to Your True Self with Indra Rinzler

    in Health

That survival drive helps us to navigate life, whether we call it the ego, the mind, or the personality. Humans began as animal nature with a thinking mind, a survival drive, and a need to look outside the self for energy to survive. The two (mind and nature) developed together to realize that by identifying and comparing survival information and learning to evaluate the inputted information, humans had a greater chance for survival through learning and intelligence. This is how the separate “I” was developed, something we feel we need to protect ourselves and develop into the believed source of life.
The human baby, three to six months old, grabs his or her foot. They don’t know it’s a foot, and they don’t know it’s “theirs” because it's pre-concepts. A year later, mommy says to the baby, “baby’s blanket.” Six months later, the toddler says, “my book, my blanket, my mommy.” The misidentification has occurred. The misidentification is that we are separate beings in charge of cause and effect, replacing Divinity as the source of life. The ego-mind subtly worships the self and treats it as though it were Divine. Misidentification protects the body for the sake of the soul. We spend the rest of our life working to see through this misidentification. This ancient programming is at the core of spiritual work.
The Spiritual path becomes the process of surrendering all the positions and concepts we hold onto, positionalities, in the realization that we are not the body nor the mind. Who we are is essence, spirit, a soul, and the “work” here can be to let go of all that has become a barrier to the Truth. We use teachers, tools, and maps to guide our way. The emptier we are, the more intuition is available for guidance.
