Like everything else, pain comes from within, we are the creators of our own pain. When we do not accept this we imagine there are things outside that can hurt us and we know fear; when we do accept this we become masters of our own life living in joy.

The pain we experience was always there inside us, all we do is expose a part of it for we can never experience all of anything. That pain can only exist where there is no consciousness, it is a signal to pay attention. When we apply consciousness in the right way to the source of the pain, it is no longer needed, the signal has served its purpose.
