Calling for a Balanced Budget Amendment, a domestic energy supply that fosters job creation and national security, individual control over healthcare, and stronger public schools, Ernst explains that solutions can only occur when the American people decide what is best for their communities. As an active member of the Iowa National Guard, Ernst understands the effects of the nation’s failing VA and the need for an immediate fix to the issue. "The problem in America today is that Washington is full of liberals who think government is the solution to every problem,” says Ernst. “They think that nothing can be solved unless Washington is involved. ...
