Tune in as Queen Quet speaks about Hurricane Dorian and emergency preparedness on the Gullah/Geechee Nation's coast.  Since 2005, Labor Day has been a time that demarcates the beginning of the peak of hurricane season.   Queen Quet is an emergency preparedness advocate that has done trainings in numerous states and continues to focus on this within the Gullah/Geechee Nation.   Tune in to her first radio broadcast about the importance of being prepared when you live in coastal areas given the climate change dynamics that are compounding the effects of hurricanes and tropical storms.
