Ancestor worship spans throughout the world. From Africa to China to India and so on. Those who are dedicated to the belief that our ancestors are still caring and providing for us, make offerings to their ancestors to honor them and ask for continued blessings. There are also many of us who believe in reincarnation. In Hinduism, reincarnation is a part of that belief as is ancestor worship. Combining the two, does this mean we are our own ancestors and can we change our own lives by making offerings to our ancestors?
