In the Inuit culture, it is said there are over 800 words to describe snow. Snow is such an everyday part of their lives, it stands to reason there would be so many descriptors for it. And in Western Culture, the fact there is a hole in the conversation around midlife female archetypes tells me that this is not important to us. This lack of awareness bothers and perplexes me. 

In this Interview with the Urban Shaman, Donna Henes, we talk about this and her book, "Queen of Myself: Stepping into Sovereignty In Midlife." She gives words and meaning -- and a face --  to one of the most potent, creative and important times in a woman's life -- The Season of the Queen!
