Was Jesus of Nazareth a real person who got mythologized?

Or was Jesus simply a mythological being?

Finally, was Jesus a Deist whose teachings and biography were warped by some of his followers, as Thomas Jefferson believed?

In the true spirit of freethought, Deism does not teach any absolutes about the subject of the Jesus of the Christian bible.  However, following reason and logic, there is one thing that Deists can agree on:  Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.  When it comes to the alleged miracles performed by Jesus, including the virgin birth and resurrection from the dead, Deists are skeptical.

The World Union of Deists‘ Deputy Director Jayson X, and his co-host Tim Wingate will explore three Deists’ perspectives on the historicity of Jesus in this thought-provoking podcast.

The show is scheduled for 60 minutes, but 90 minutes have been reserved in case more time is needed.  For upcoming shows from The World Union of Deists and other hosts, please visit God Discussion's "At-A-Glance" calendar.
