Paul Baskin Interview Continued..... from last week Sept 5th

In 2002 Paul Baskin created Grants To You…a nonprofit that through its local chapters provides very low cost training to primarily senior citizens and students who have a desire to assist their favorite, local nonprofit with their grant research and writing. Grants To You chapters has graduated over 840 volunteers, to date, who helped to acquire in excess of $2.1 million for their designated nonprofits.

Mr. Baskin was employed by some of the most successful companies in the U.S. including Mattel Toys, Columbia Pictures, The Larwin Group, Haas Automation and TCI of Ventura County. His areas of expertise are in marketing and sales, meeting planning, community service, accounting and finance.

Mr. Baskin became heavily involved in non-profit work after leading his company's United Way campaign. He then wrote a "Cookbook on how to run a United Way campaign" and the repeated his success with yet another large company. As a result, in his last year of full time employment he became their Community Relations Manager sitting on nine non-profit boards of directors.

In addition, Paul started “The Job Mentor” which he created as an information source in the form of a blog and associated and valued products that offers unique solutions to the job search. Sharing over 43 years of amazing job experience; Paul has received over 14,000 positive comments on his blog which helps the under and unemployed with their job search.
