To have confidence, first decide to have it. You don’t need an appointment. Show it in your posture and how you walk.  Practice being confident when you are alone. You don’t need to achieve anything more, you simply need to decide to feel and generate confidence on a more consistent and conscious basis. Examine yourself and define your values- stand for something and be true to it. When you are being fully alive and authentic and true to yourself, you feel confident. Be more aware of your surroundings and get interested in things that is not in your surroundings: read journals and books about places and avail yourself to different experiences. Gather knowledge and skills in areas that you are passionate about. Activity leads you to the path right for your success in life. Surround yourself with positive and supportive people. If you don’t have a supportive community, go create one.

Confidence begins with the “intention” of being confidence. Within everyone is the power to be - To be happy, to be confident, to be excited, to be successful. Adults too often lose the power of imagination. To imagine is to believe that an idea is possible. An idea is only an idea until a plan and action make it of substance. The first step to making an idea substance is having the confidence to try and fail and try and fail until you try and succeed. Defeat only comes when you stop trying. Failure is just one of the steps in the process of succeeding. Toddlers cannot run a 440 meter race; they fall a lot, but they don’t stop trying to walk because they cannot run. The “intentions" that you set do not have to be lofty; set your intention to be a loving person, an ambitious person, a fun person, a flirty person, a sexy person or whatever kind of person that you want to be in order to be happy and confidence will come. Confidence is simply having the ability to express who we are.
