I have heard about the Laws of Attraction for about a decade, but I never really thought about what it really meant or how to "harness" it. Well recently, I have been paying attention to things around me and I am now a believer. When I was "grateful" and expecting something good to happen, something good did happen. When I was neutral or pessimistic, I reaped the consequences. So, what will I do with my new found "power"? I am going to use it.

I believe that I can make "things happen". So I am setting about identifying what all I want to happen. I am "daydreaming" more about the "wouldn't it be nice if" and marveling at the goodness of things. If you have not heard of the power of attraction, let me give you the brief explanation. The universe is governed by vibrations-- it's like when you say, "I have a feeling";  the feeling is a premonition or a warning of something to come. Well the law of attraction is about being aware of your feelings all of the time so that your state of mind is always ready to receive good vibes.

Another way of thinking about the Law of Attraction is when you enter a building and feel uncomfortable or meet someone who gives you a "funny" feeling. Well that is you tuning in on what is the ability to read your surroundings. When you can read your surroundings, you can began to shape your surroundings. As you understand the vibrations around you, you can choose which vibrations you want around you.

If you are around "sad" or morose people, you will have a pessimistic outlook on life and your life WILL be as bad as you feel that it is. If you expect good things to happen and marvel at "little" good things that happen, bigger and better things will happen. It does work. I am beginning to apply this principle to my life and I am amazed at how often I smile and laugh out loud.
