Tune in today as Professor Michael Clement, the Faculty Athletic Rep at the University of Texas-Austin, joins us to discuss his role on the search committee for the Longhorn's new athletic director.

The University of Texas is one of the premier athletic programs in the United States, however, the program hasn't quite lived up to the gigantic Texas-sized expectations from its loyal fan & donor base since Vince Young led the Longhorns to the National Championship against the USC Trojans.

After a successful tenure as the Athletic Director for UT, Deloss Dodds recently announced his plans to retire in 2014 which led to a number of rumors about who would succeed Dodds on the hot seat in Austin.

After an exhaustive search, Arizona State's Steve Patterson has been identified as the next in line to run this storied program.

We'll ask Professor Clement about the process, the candidates, and the ultimate decision as well as find out about the future of the FBS football programs in the NCAA governance structure. We'll also discuss the latest in the Miami Dolphins locker room bullying situation, the motivational challenges the Miami Heat face in their efforts to 3-peat, and more.

Tune in at 7pm ET for A New View from the Sidelines.
