Participation levels for youth sports are at an all-time high in the United States and young athletes are able to leverage better equipment, better exposure, and better access to opportunities & coaching. BUT, is this good for our children?

This week on Game Changers Live, we will be joined by Univeristy of Texas Head Women's Golf Coach Martha Richards and former Chicago Bulls Scout Clarence Gaines II to discuss "The Changing Dynamic of Youth Sports".

The show will focus on some of the following topics: kids "specializing" in one sport at earlier ages (what are the benefits or the risks), increase in the number of overuse injuries in athletes, parental involvement in their child's sports participation, are we preparing kids to cope with losing or failure in sports, the coaching quality at the youth level, and "psycho" parents in the stands.

We also will be joined for an interview on the state Los Angeles hoops by NBA blogger Rey Moralde.
