Two weeks ago, an administrator at a university with a prominent sports program suggested that we should remove student from "student-athlete". Last week, California Governor Jerry Brown signed the country's first student-athletes rights bill.

This week, Game Changers Live is dedicating our show to the life of the college student-athlete as we welcome the Ramogi Huma, the former college athlete who authored that bill, and Jeff Janssen, the guy who has made it his mission to help student-athletes achieve the ultimate goal...winning championships.

Sports Psychologist Jeff Janssen will join us to discuss how he helps student-athletes navigate all of the challenges to lead their teams to victory.  Janssen, owner of the Janssen Sports Leadership Center, works very closely with thousands of student-athletes & coaches in the top programs across the country.  His goal is to help individuals unlock the champion within, to develop team leaders, and to help teams visualize what it takes to bring home a championship trophy.

While Jeff is helping them to reach their full potential, Ramogi Huma has made it his life's mission to protect the rights of those student-athletes who generate millions of dollars for their respective schools & billions of dollars for the NCAA. Huma, a former linebacker for the UCLA Bruins, founded the National College Players Association several years ago. The organization's mission is to provide the means for college athletes to voice their concerns and change NCAA rules.

What does it take to win an NCAA championship? Are leaders born or can they learn to be leaders? Should student-athletes be paid? Tune in Wednesday at 1pm!
