This week, I have a discussion with Tyler Owen, founder of Random Seed Games and self-made indie developer behind games such as Time Frame, Proto Botic, and the upcoming Mars exploration epic Lucuna Passage. which was successfully funded via Kickstarter  earlier this year. We discuss his decision to become an indie developer, the challenges of graduating college in the midst of a recession, the popularity of the FPS exploration genre, and a tip for surviving the winter months in the Midwest.
