Sean Hogan and Jonathan Kittaka don't like to play by the rules. Instead of being furious about their first game, Anodyne, being released on The Pirate Bay without their consent, they gave their approval of others 'pirating' their game and used TPB as a means of promoting their game. It worked for the duo, as Anodyne became an indie sensation in early 2013, allowing them to fund their sophomore game, Even the Ocean.
