About Kevin Strouse
Candidate in PA-08, www.kevinstrouse.com
Kevin Strouse grew up in a family committed to service and rooted in Southeastern Pennsylvania - his family has been serving Pennsylvania and the United States in the Armed Services since the Revolutionary War.
As the son of a Vietnam veteran and the grandson of two World War II veterans, Kevin decided to follow the family tradition of service and, after graduating from college, enlisted in the Army. Two weeks before the end of his basic training, terrorists attacked us on September 11th, and by February of 2002 Kevin was deployed in Afghanistan. Kevin went on to serve for three years as an Army Ranger with 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment with the rank of Specialist. His time in the military included multiple combat tours to Afghanistan and Iraq, where he took part in the initial invasion and participated in the operation to rescue Jessica Lynch.
