Our guest this week is Margaret Stone, founder of Veterans Healing Initiative. After many years of raising funds for addiction treatment programs and uncovering a dramatic need for dual-diagnosis substance abuse and PTSD treatment for veterans , Margaret and co-founder Jim Abernathy decided to create this independent organization focused exclusively on providing funds for our nation's veterans who need treatment but do not have access to programs or cannot afford care.
