FUN4daMental - Fire & Ice

LaKenya McClain, an up & coming new author, was born & raised in Bridgeport, Ct. As a young teen, LaKenya would write poems of her life experiences. In later years, LaKenya partnered up with her cousin, Jennifer Fire Arroyo. They now go by the names Fire(Jennifer) and Ice (Lakenya) and are signed to G STREET CHRONICLES. Lakenya and Jennifer have a best selling series ONLY WAY OUT 1&2 and another series TRUST ISSUES. GRIND which is a full length novel will be out October 2012.  She will also be writing Children books & Erotic Tales in the future. LaKenya is not only a writer, but also a mother & teacher,  Lakenya still resides in Bridgeport, CT, with her three children.

Author Jennifer “Fire” Arroyo was born in New Rochelle, NY and raised in Bridgeport, CT. At a young age, Fire began writing poetry & stories that her mother submitted to writing contests her local library held & even won a  writing contest in elementary school. After graduating high school, Fire wasn’t sure what she wanted to do & although attending a community college, she dropped out & took to hustling. Urged by her sister to continue to write, she entered several contests & won first place to a Vickie stringer writing contest & was given an honorable mention in a K’wan writing contest. That was all it took to encourage Fire to continue writing. Now at the age of 26 with 3 kids & attending business school, Fire & Ice use life experience as well as imagination to continue a lifelong dream of writing & create stories that readers can relate to & learn from! The name stems from FIRE plots and ICE cold characters coming together to bring heat the urban writing game!
