Ryan Mauro: New Syrian Rebel Leader Was CAIR Official

Ryan Mauro of Radical Islam.org joins us to discuss Syria. He reports that the newly elected rebel Prime Minister Ghassan Hitto, a Syrian-American, “was backed by the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood and was a Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) official, a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity.”

But wait, it gets better: “U.S. ambassador to Syria Robert Ford just told the House Foreign Affairs Committee not to worry because he believes Hitto “is more Texan than Muslim Brotherhood” based on two meetings they had.” Neither the Free Syrian Army nor the Islamist rebels have been fooled.
