Christianity 101 - "Love" Destroys The Weeds Of "Bitterness"

You think you are  doing a great job of being faithful in your relationship with God ? You   do your devotionals and read your Bible and then pray and spend some time with Him. You go to church every Sunday and you tithe and even give more of  your earnings to charities and other ministries in support .You maybe a minister , elder ,  deacon , missionary , Bible teacher , even a great family man or woman outside of the church . You are supporting some other ministries with your time and money as well . You are looking and sometimes feeling you are " Christian of the Month " and some may say you even sound like a Christ follower in some of your words spoken . However you have in your past and present some many wrongs that you have not made right . Matthew 5 : 23-24 says , " Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar , and there  remember that your brother has something against you , leave your gift there before the altar , and go your way . First be reconciled to your brother , and then come and offer your gift . " Jesus was not  telling that crowd on the mountain to get their hearts right with God . Instead , He urged them to put God on hold for a time . Reconciled literally means changed ! It is not enough getting right with God .
