A Conversation With Lamont Bagfeel

Hippie Control featuring Lamont Bagfeel, has been delivering genre-defining music in a number of styles for years.  Their music catches everyone’s attention because of its infectious grooves that continually repeat through a person’s mind.  With their catchy hook, soaring vocals, and signature sound, they are solidifying their position as one of the regions best indie bands.  They have won over fans and critics alike with the hybrid rock/R&B sound they introduced on the release of Lamont’s 2014, “Identity”. The first EP single “Just Want To Be With You” was released digitally all over world gaining him huge recognition for his new creation of sound in R&B music.

Lamont Bagfeel is a multitalented singer, songwriter, producer and musician.  He began his musical journey at the age of 8 as a church drummer. Soon after, his passion for the piano and organ would be kindled while listening to Carlton Pearson’s organist on Live at AZUSA.  Lamont became determined to learn and play the organ when someone told him that playing organ was too hard, and that he would never be able to understand it.  The same passion is displayed in his journey to share his music.
