'Still Flyin' Over the Heartland'

Christmas.

A really simple word once you break down the etymology of it. It represents the Church's celebration gathering to honor the birth of Jesus Christ.

However, there are those not only in our country, but all over the world who not only loathe Christmas [along with all things Judeo-Christian in basis], but also dislike those who celebrate it only in the secular sense, but they also hate the Saint which spawned Santa Claus.

The big assault on this most revered & favored of holidays started just a few mere months after 9-11. They used "safety" as an excuse for Saint Nicholas' Greek Orthodox Church to not have their live nativity re-enactment. This was nothing more than a social Marxist tactic; the reality is more than likely due to some whiny little uber-liberal atheist who'd soiled his beloved Georgio Brutinis with goat droppings on the sidewalk one year & decided "By Darwin, That's IT!"

Those Wahabbists & Talibanis out there who want to stamp out all vestiges of anything Judeo-Christian at this time of year. We're coming out of our turkey and mind-numbing football binge induced stupor only to be hit over the head with the wild rantings of Ibrihim Hooper of CAIR. This is all because Clark Griswold's lights were too bright when he was bowing to the east, which made him trip on his prayer rug, effectively causing a face plant, thus resulting in him breaking his own nose... YET AGAIN.

The worst part is how the Professional Left Media are consistently the more-than-willing accomplice to these tactics and only occasionally act "shocked" that such a thing would happen at this time of year. The fake shock is usually because local affiliates don't wish to lose any sponsorships, as they're hard enough to work to get in the first place.
