This FindaTopDoc Episode features Doctor Kathryn Pearson Peyton. Dr. Pearson currently practices Radiology, specifically focused on breast imaging. After witnessing the hardship of breast cancer diagnoses within her family, Dr. Pearson used her passion and knowledge to achieve medical advancements that would make the process of breast cancer detection more efficient. After attending Stanford University she did a radiology residency and Fellowship in Breast Imaging at UCSF Medical School. Dr. Pearson has practiced radiology for over 20 years in Jacksonville and San Francisco.

Due to Dr. Pearson’s passion, motivation, and intelligence, she founded a non-profit technology company in 2012 known as: Mammosphere, which improves breast cancer detection and reduces unnecessary additional imaging by providing electronic accessibility to prior comparison mammograms in hopes to tackle these alarming statistics. You can visit Mammosphere’s website at www.mammosphere.org
