Ring Announcer Lisa King is our guest this week on the FNU Combat Sports Show. According to Wikipedia: Lisa Olivia King aka "The Black Widow"(born January 14th in Las Vegas, Nevada) is a Muay Thai Fighter with a record of 7-1-1. She is instrumental in bringing attention to women's martial arts and muay thai fighting. In addition to fighting she is an Muay Thai instructor, fight match maker, commentator and ring announcer. Through her extensive involvement in martial arts and Muay Thai kickboxing, she has been featured in ESPN's "I'd do Anything", the film "Ring Girls", the Oxygen Network's 2006 movie "Fight Girls" and her four-volume Muay Thai Instructional DVD Series "Vicious Vixens" produced by Century Martial Arts. Due to the success of the first movie she was asked back to star in Oxygen's 8-week reality show "Fight Girls" as a mentor and trainer to 10 aspiring female fighters. King will discuss the highlights of her career and give us a preview of some upcoming events she will be participating in.
