This episode will highlight two huge charitable boxing events involving amateur pugilists involved in law enforcement, firefighting and military training. At 8:15 PM EST we speak with Tony Shultz, who is marketing the 32nd Annual Battle of the Badges event in New York City between the NYPD and FDNY amateur boxing teams. The show takes place November 22nd at Madison Square Garden and benefits Corporal Jesse Murphree. For more info on the event, CLICK HERE. The second hour will feature interviews with the people involved in the 2014 Veterans Day Boxing Spectacular.  The exciting night of boxing action on Saturday, November 8 at Foxwoods® Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut will honor U.S. servicemen and women. The event is being held in partnership with the National Collegiate Boxing Association and Team Red, White and Blue, the nation's premier veterans support group. We'll speak to participating boxers Cappy Polou (West Point) and Taylor Tennyson (US Coast Guard Academy), who are both National Collegiate Boxing Association national champions. We also speak with event administrator Al Valenti. Tom, Tony, and Rich also try to squeeze in all the week's developments in combat sports, recap events, and preview upcoming events.
