The Pony Tails

The Pony Tails are the sweethearts of Rock and Roll the Hudson Valley.  They are the favorite female fronted show and Party band of the area. The group focuses is on the three female singer/dancers up front.  They have together since the early 90's.  The Ponytails group was formed by Noela Starr  as a “ 50's & 60’s girl group review”.   They began performing in New York City Night Clubs.  The group soon became a favorite opening act performing with such groups as Vito Picone (The Eligants),  Joey Dee & the Starliters, TheTeenagers, The Dupree's, The Brooklyn Bridge, The Crystal's, The Toys,  The Belmont's, The Regants,  and many more from the Doo-Wop to Disco era.  The Pony Tails have performed in many venues including Madison Square Garden in NYC.

NEQ (Nelson Esposito Quintana)is a Hudson Valley, NY based group which performs instrumental exploratory electric spacey americana, jazz grooves & more.  NEQ play original songs & original arrangements of unusual covers of any genre signified by the muse.  Improvisational but not noise; exploratory in texture and sound but melodic; arranged but open-ended; structured while embracing the random; aware of the past without repeating it; unafraid of space, subtlety or beauty, and it rocks.
