Taking Care of a Pet Can Instill Responsibility in a Child

Today on Family Talk I have the wonderful pleasure to speak with Michelle Hollow the author "The Everything Guide to Working with Animals," (Adams Media). She created the blog,Pet News and Viewsabout animal welfare, pet care, and profiles of people who work with and on behalf of animals. She studied zoology at the Bronx Zoological Society in New York.

Michele also works as a freelance journalist, ghostwriter, and author. She wrote a biography about the Grateful Dead and she created two crafts books--for children (Enslow Publishers).

Michele is a mom who resides in NJ with her 10 year-old son, husband, and cat, Mr. Earl Gray. She also knows the importance of instilling responsibility in our children and taking care of a pet can help with that daunting task.
