Divisibility: you can buy, hold or sell Bitcoin at different scales
Durability: it is digital and cannot corrode over time
Recognizable: each trading party can verify its authenticity on the blockchain
Portable: Bitcoin is digital and therefore can easily move across space and borders fast and efficiently.
Scarcity: Bitcoin has a total capped supply of 21 million coins. There is no way more can be created; demand is increasing and therefore increasingly scarce.
Bitcoin ticks all five boxes as a medium of exchange (money).
