Born and raised in Chicago's south side, Johnny Louis aka "Fella Soul" grew up in the mean streets, was a high ranking member of the vice lords (a Chicago street gang) and was on a fast track to no where until he heard the voice of God. "I was on my way to committing another illegal act when Gods voice stopped me in my tracks and told me to pray."

That was nearly 5 years ago and since that time Fella Soul has been receiving nothing but blessings. As he says, "I don't call it a blessing because I'm doing what I love, the blessing is in recognizing that God loves me all the time". "Testimony" is the first single from the soundtrack of the movie American Badboy, which stars Katt Williams, features Karyn White and also presents Fella Soul in a cameo role where he performs his "Testimony" single.
