A New Journey of Healing

Calendria Jones is a survivor of sexual abuse and has been homeless several times.  She began receiving mental health services from 1997-2005 and now is employed at the very place where she received those services and has been since 2009, she says it’s an honor to work and grow professionally there.

Calendria’s journey has included motivational speaking and she has received awards for working in the community. She facilitates groups for National Alliance of Mental Illness and Mental Health America of Virginia.

She serves on two boards, one of which is HomeAgain which is also a shelter she once resided in. 

She most recently married the man she has loved for 16yrs and 5 beautiful children.

Calendria is truly blessed and thanks God for His grace and favor on her life!
