HOST DEIDRE HOWARD AND GUEST SUE

Your Host; Author, Shamanic Practicioner, Intuitive Life Coach and Hierophant Deidre Howard Sidi Yahya will talk to Sue Senden creator of the Biblical Tarot. She will discuss the Tarot and its connection to the Bible and give readings.

Sue first learned Tarot from a friend in high school and delved into the history of Tarot  from the beginning. Sue has a Bachelors in is Art/Art History, Masters in in theological studies with a specialty in early church history.

Sue is a forensic artist and work with police to reconstruct the face from the skulls of murder victims. She spent 3 years in Greece and Egypt on archaeological digs (scientific illustrator). Sue has 4 books in print, 2 are histories and 2 are anthology collections. She is releasing a murder mystery in the fall.

THE PREMISE: The origins of the Tarot have been lost in the shadows of the medieval world. At that time, the center

of life was the church. Most people could not read or write. One of the best teaching methods for the church was through story, pictures and miracle plays. That is how I believe the Tarot came into being as a teaching tool to the masses. The cards were created as a portable means of telling the story of faith, simple wood cuts printed on cloth since paper had not yet come to Europe.
