Keir Worthy & Ward White IV

35th Anniversary HOT WAX PROMOTIONS!
In history two young brothers Keir Worthy & Ward White IV established what would be the first of it's kind  in the region and perhaps nationally, an independent promotions company primarily dedicated to the exposure of rap music. It began in Austin TX in 1985, a day that tied them forever to the legendary Run DMC, Jam Master Jay (RIP) and rapper turned impressario, André Harrell. It ended up being the portal which led them into careers and a lifelong friendship.

WARD WHITE IV is an entertainment industry veteran whose law practice spans over 25 years.Prior to his life as an attorney, he served as the Co-National Director of Rap Promotions for Warner Bros. Records.  In addition to practicing law, he is also a writer, tv/film producer, and content creator.

His career path took form in college when he and Keir Worthy, his good friend and a fellow student at the University of Texas launched Hot Wax Promotions, a pioneering independent record promotion company, that played a key role in the expansion of hip hop throughout Texas, promoting seminal acts such as Public Enemy, Ice T, Heavy D and the Boyz, and Sir Mix-A-Lot. Currently, he is the attorney for Eryka Badu.
