Introduction to Yoga Radio with Carol Guy. The world has went through so many changes and challenges this past year and still more changes are happening daily. Many people are turning to yoga to release stress, to be come more healthier and to help find balance in their life. With this in mind Yoga Radio is born. Carol wanted to find a way to share a deeper understanding of Yoga. On Yoga Radio we will cover what is yoga and the philosophy of yoga. The importance of the breath and different breath practices to help with not only with your yoga practice but with daily life. Why do we chant in yoga? We will cover different chants and their meaning. Asana yoga poses, we will go over diferent poses, their sanskrit name, the benefits, concerns, and modificitions of the pose. Why we do concern poses and to give you a deeper understanding of how these poses can benefit and help your body, mind and spirit.  We will cover the different types of yoga so you can find the one that best fits your life. How we can use yoga to listen and get in touch with your body. Becoming our bodies best friend.  Meditation, the myths and the magic that you will fall in love with.

Carol has been practicing yoga for over 20+ years. She has practiced many types of yoga over these years, along with deep studies in Chakra’s, Energy, chanting and many philosophies related to the practice and foundation of the mind, body and spirit. Carol is a 200 hour Certified Yoga Teacher and Chair Yoga Teacher. She has also been a radio host for over 20 years sharing the wisdom and knowledge she has experienced with the blessing that some of her experiences could shine a light for someone else. She is the founder and host of Yoga Radio.
