In 2008 Cason was injured in an auto accident that caused him loose his left leg above the knee and his right leg broken in 3 places. Cason had many months of therapeutic recovery that only gave him the strength he need to continue his empowerment, and volunteer as a mentor for various hospitals across the Carolinas.
