Helena Ovens is a Doctor of Naturopathy, Classical Homeopath and Bowen Therapist. She has been in full-time practice as a Doctor of Naturopathy in the Toronto region since 1992. Upon graduation from the Ontario College of Naturopathic Medicine, she was the recipient of the Dr. Joe Boucher/Dr. Leo Roy Award for Excellence in Clinical Nutrition. Helena has been actively involved in the Alternative Medical Field since 1975. She has been actively involved in her profession since 1988. For the past fifteen years, she has been the Homeopathic Instructor at the Transformational Arts College. Helena was a Speaker at the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors Annual Convention, and has been interviewed by both CTV News and CBC Radio regarding the issue of vaccination. Currently her practice focuses on Clinical Nutrition, Classical Homeopathy, Western Botanicals, Bowen Therapy and Counselling. Her goal is the prevention of disease and the promotion of health and well-being for her patients. She is dedicated to putting the "care" back into Health Care, and thoroughly believes in her motto: "Health through Education".
