Tonight we'll talk "Hip Hop: Bars and Bruises." Join me as I welcome Detroit MC Marcus "Marcosis" Adams and Boston Producer/DJ Howard B. Knoxz. We'll discuss the current state of Hip Hop and its identity. Is Hip Hop suffering from Identity Theft? What makes Hip Hop artist successful these days? Why do conscious MC's have it so tough in the market place. Who's to blame for tilting the scale toward foolishness and away from thought-provoking Hip Hop? Do you blame the MC trying to get paid? Do you blame the record executives for putting out the same types of songs. Do you blame Radio Program Managers for isolating consious Hip Hop records? Maybe we as consumers are to blame, because we don't demand substanitive Hip Hop. I'm on my knees praying you join me for this discussion. Peace
