With Israel on trial for plausible genocide as announced by ICJ on 26 January 2024, ICJ also orders Israel & IDF to prevent Gaza genocide as trial proceeds over the year.Still despite the World Court Order  raging wars in the Middle East, tethering on WW3, South Africa's case attempts to break the cycle of wars, inequality, and national violence.

With so many questions about South Africa's role and importance at this pivotal juncture for the world, not just for history, but more importantly for the peaceful future of generations to come. For our grandkids and their grandkids. Our young ones are looking closely at our decisions, that will impact their future. Today I'm joined by a fellow South African, and colleague Kas. Who is a creative director and designer, and since 2020 has been paving the way as a social impact artist.

This is Part 1 of 2. Tune In Tomorrow for the second part.

While I'm in the diaspora, Kas is a local South African. We both lived through the peak of apartheid in South Africa, and its transition to a one state, democratic country. The Truth and Reconciliation Commission and emotional healing helped our citizens in many ways. Personally since leaving South Africa on a scholarship, I experienced multi-cultures, multi-ethnicities, languages and more around our planet. And I know for sure that the wonderful diversity is what makes our planet so amazing, not just the contrast among humans, but in all species, and all minerals, in the oceans, in the earth, on the land, in the air and through out space. We exist within diversity. And our conversation today I hope will address many of your questions as we face the most challenging of geopolitical and human rights turmoil in our lifetime.
