Are you suffering from a chronic or autoimmune disease and having no success with medication and treatments? Or even just looking to make yourself feel more like, well, *you* without popping a pill? Dr. Terry Wahls is living, surviving proof that the food that we eat can heal us. You'll learn to:

  • Focus on healing yourself with the right balance of nutrients and vitamins
  • Understand the options that exist outside of medication
  • Make lasting lifestyle changes that can dramatically improve your health and your prognosis

Dr. Terry Wahls is a clinical professor of medicine at the University of Iowa and a staff physician at the Iowa City Veterans Affairs Hospital, where she teaches medical students and resident physicians, sees patients in traumatic brain injury and therapeutic lifestyle clinics with complex chronic health problems that often include multiple autoimmune disorders. She is also a patient with a chronic progressive neurological disorder, secondary progressive multiple sclerosis, which confined her to a tilt-recline wheelchair for four years. But thanks to her development of the Wahls Protocol, which is based on functional medicine and her take on the Paleo diet, Dr. Wahls restored her health and now pedals her bike five miles to work each day.

Hosted by Dr. Lauren "Lo" Noel of Shine Natural Medicine.
