If you feel uneasy about the motives of your friends and loved ones when they ask you out or want to hang out with you, it it likely that you are concerned about being used.

You probably worry that they just want a shoulder to cry on or to get you to take care of things that they can't manage.

You don't imagine that they choose to be with you because they genuinely like you.

Feeling used makes you feel bad about yourself, suspicious of others, shut off and lonely.

This episode 13 of my series on managing bad feelings shows you how to differentiate between feeling used and feeling wanted for yourself.

Give yourself a chance to feel worthwhile and enjoy connecting in a healthy and satisfying way when you get past the feelings of being used.
