Visit with Rocsanne Shield about Save Magic City

We will be talking to Rocsanne Shield about her new book Save Magic City. In this book children are given the message that being independent and helping one's neighbors is more important in times of struggle than in normal times and that dedication and teamwork can bring change. The book connects with the audience by telling the story of hope, action and adventure as 13th century Edmund the magician lands in the present-day USA. The corporation employing the townspeople has left, the bank foreclosures have created whole streets of empty houses, and people are leaving in droves. With the help of the children and Edmund’s magic, they save their beloved city.
