ABOUT NIKITA:

My name is Nikita Kara, I'm 19 years old and I am a female alternative pop artist. I taught myself guitar and how to sing when I was 13 years old, and started writing original content when I was 14. It turned into such a deep passion of mine and by the time I was 18 I wanted to take it seriously as a career. My genre may be alternative pop, but sometimes it can sound more like R&B, hip hop, or indie. I like to have a wide variety of sound since I listen to so many artists and take great inspiration from them.

ABOUT KINGSIMBA:
Simba Maanyi (Joshua Quinton Cheeks-Mahaffey) born March 4th, 1989 in Gainesville, Ga. Mother is Juanita Latresa Cheeks, a local cheerleader and soprano singer back in her prime & still a very prestigious police officer now a probation officer. Father is Jeffery Larica Mahaffey, a local DJ back in his prime now a respected employee at Kubota Manufacturing. Simba was inputed into church at a very young age by his grandmother which is very beloved in her congregation & workplace especially at home by her family. Joshua (Simba) was very much into God & his message until he fell into worldliness by attempting to be someone who he wasn't because he was fooled by the money, cars, clothes & women of "street life". Naturally he fell in love with music due to his mother being a dancer & his father being a DJ, Hip-Hop & "Gangster" Rap took him by storm, he intimated every aspect of it eventually reaping what he sow. It got so bad he became affiliated with a very notorious street gang, the Gangster Disciples, he started selling drugs, buying firearms for false sense of security, having sex with random women etc until one day Joshua (Simba) had an outer body experience & realize what he was doing, what he become was not who he was or was meant to be.
