Sex & Healing in TOTAL BALANCE

Sex is a spiritual mystery that is universally challenging to explain.  It has to be personally experienced and consciously appreciated before an understanding is formed. In both Eastern and Western traditions we have a chance to explore sex, and find its regenerating and healing powers; however, we may also fall into its abusive or devaluing patterns as well.

The circulation of sexual energy through the conscious use of breath, touch, sound, and presence is a deep healing process that uses our intentionally directed sexual energy.  Expansion of the healthy life force of sexual energy throughout the body can be directed to release past traumas, repressed emotions or unhealthy belief systems that hold us back from sharing true intimacy in the present with a loved one or with our self. Once our body’s natural life force can consciously expand and release our limiting emotional and muscular armor, we can return to our natural state of liveliness, joy, and wellbeing.
