Our Interviewee is a Southern California mom to three – twins (b/g) who are seven and a nine year old daughter – with 85% of the financial and physical responsibility for their upbringing. She became a first-time mom at the age of 40. At that time, she founded a corporate messaging and branding practice, so that she could balance stay-home parenting with earning enough money to keep the family afloat.
She left her 16 year marriage without much of a plan when her youngest two children were not yet in kindergarten and she hadn’t worked in 7 years.
