Laura Packer has been telling stories her whole life; her mother reports she was born talking. She was a finalist in the 2009 and 2010 Massachusetts story slam series, has featured at the Exchange Place Stage at the National Storytelling Festival, Boston First Night, international festivals, conferences and more. Laura helps organizations and individuals foster better communication and clear vision through storytelling and coaching. She believes everyone can tell a good story. Laura Packer holds a B.A. degree from Boston University, University Professor’s Program, Boston, MA, Folklore and Myth Studies.
An advocate for vulnerable groups, Natasha Deen has worked with the Alberta provincial government's Children and Youth Services department as well as with non-profit agencies dedicated to helping functionally illiterate adults and differently-abled people. When not working on her manuscripts, she is a writing instructor and editor to teens, adults and children, and uses the template of the story to teach conflict resolution, empowerment and the "why" behind human behavior.
