In the summer of 1999, while hanging with a few close friends at a downtown McDonalds, Boo bumped into R. Kelly, and the rest is history. He was later featured on R. Kelly's multi-platinum selling album R. on the hit single "We Ride" featuring Jay-Z, Noriega, and Camron. Shortly after, Boo was featured on R. Kelly's multi-platinum selling album, TP2.com on the chart topping smash hits "I Wish" remix, "Fiesta", and the "Fiesta" Remix featuring Jay-Z.Boo was rising fast into the business, and he caught the attention of Cash Money Records.
