Rise of the X-MEN

The superhero group known as the X-Men has been trhough a roller coster of ownership over the years. It first made the jump from comic books to television with the popular 1990's "X-Men Animated Series." In 2000, under the umbrella of Fox, the first X-Men movie was released.

Marvel, with the help of the powerhouse that is Disney, did everything in their power to reclaim the rights to the X-Men franchise. They succeeded. Now, the question on everyone's mind is what are they are going to do with this newfound power? Unlike Disney's previous projects, the world of the mutant is full of prejudice, hatred, bigotry and politics. It lacks the innocence of Avengers, which is your basic good guy fights bag guy scenerio.
